Beauty has always captured my attention. From great literature to the natural world to painting, I've spent much of my life learning to observe it carefully and create it faithfully.

I hold a degree in Secondary Education and have taught in both public and private schools. Over the years, I've continued to develop my art including the years of raising young children.

Today, I teach art classes from my home studio when I am not homeschooling my three daughters. I believe anyone can learn to draw and paint with thoughtful instruction, patient practice, and an understanding of the principles that great artists have used for centuries. My classes emphasize observation, craftsmanship, and the joy of making something beautiful.

Outside the studio, I enjoy reading deeply, painting, weightlifting, boxing, and building a life with my husband and our three girls.
